Jacqueline S. Jacobson is a former prosecutor with the Securities Exchange Commission who has been practicing in criminal and civil litigation for over thirteen years.

Ms. Jacobson concentrates her practice in white collar criminal defense matters, including securities fraud, Medicare fraud, tax and accounting fraud cases, and post-conviction proceedings. She also handles witness representation, plea negotiations, federal sentencing, and prison placement.

Ms. Jacobson has an extensive background in white collar criminal matters. Before beginning her career at Monico, Pavich & Spevack, she was a senior enforcement attorney for the Midwest Branch of the Securities and Exchange Commission, where she prosecuted high-profile fraud cases. While at the SEC, Ms. Jacobson received the Manuel F. Cohen award for legal excellence, one of the SEC's highest honors.

Ms. Jacobson also served as a staff attorney for the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals, where she wrote significant opinions for several of the Court's judges.
